Tesseron ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-registered company providing AI-powered automation services for small and medium businesses. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What Data We Collect

Waitlist form submissions

When you submit the waitlist form on our website, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Business email address
  • Business name
  • Business type (industry)
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Consent timestamp
  • Source page (which page you submitted the form from)
  • Country (derived from your IP address at the time of submission - the IP address itself is not stored)

Website analytics

We use Umami Cloud, a privacy-first analytics service that collects no personal data and uses no cookies. Umami collects only aggregate, anonymised data including:

  • Page views and unique visitor counts
  • Referral sources
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Country-level geographic location

No individual user can be identified from this data.

3. Why We Collect Your Data

We collect personal data for the following purposes:

  • Waitlist management: To register your interest, contact you about our AI Receptionist service, and notify you when we launch in your industry.
  • Anonymous analytics: To understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK/EU GDPR) - for processing waitlist form data. You provide consent by ticking the checkbox on our form.
  • Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK/EU GDPR) - for anonymous website analytics. No personal data is collected, so the impact on individuals is negligible.

5. How We Store Your Data

Waitlist form data is stored in Google Sheets, provided by Google LLC. Google processes data under the Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum and participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Anonymous analytics data is processed by Umami Cloud on EU-hosted infrastructure.

6. Data Retention

  • Waitlist data: Retained until you request deletion, or for a maximum of 2 years after your last interaction with us.
  • Analytics data: Retained for 6 months (Umami Cloud free tier).

7. Third-Party Processors

We share your data with the following third-party services, solely for the purposes described above:

  • Google (Google Sheets API) - stores waitlist form submissions.
  • Umami Cloud - processes anonymous website analytics.
  • Cloudflare - hosts and delivers our website via their global content delivery network.

8. International Data Transfers

Google LLC and Cloudflare, Inc. are US-based companies. Both participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and have implemented appropriate safeguards for international data transfers as required by the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

9. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification - request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure - request deletion of your personal data.
  • Right to restrict processing - request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Right to data portability - request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object - object to our processing of your data.
  • Right to withdraw consent - withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

10. Cookies

This website does not use cookies. We do not set first-party cookies, and we do not embed any third-party scripts or widgets that set cookies. No cookie consent banner is required or displayed.
